Holiday Procrastination

I don’t know about you, but I’m still finding it hard to believe that it’s December, and that the holidays are going to be here in about two weeks.

Maybe it’s the lack of snow we’ve been having, or that I’m still deflating from Circle Craft & the Eastside Culture Crawl while planning ahead for the next show, but the holidays just haven’t hit me yet. That being said, I have picked up a few small things, and have been spending some time on the internet looking for more gift ideas. My seriously stellar procrastination skills may also have something to do with my lack of a festive thought…I do work better with a deadline!

Today I’m sharing some fun finds to help get in the holiday spirit, and hopefully you will find a little last minute inspiration, or have some new treasures too!

I am obsessed with k studio‘s work. I particularly love their customizable family totes & wall art…You choose your figures, and they embroider them onto totes, pillows, or wall art. All of the characters captivate me & I find myself analyzing each one to see which one suits each member of my family best. I am going to gift something from them, even if not for Christmas!

Who doesn’t love a little lipstick?! After noticing my own sensitivities with the usual drugstore fare lately, I started looking for other options. I was happy to find Cheeky Cosmetics in Kelowna BC that makes mineral make up. Perfect!

Having an adorable nephew on my list is also making it hard not to buy every charming toddler item that I see. Naturally I fell in love with these amazing crayons:

I think I’d have a hard time sharing!! You can find them here.

We also picked up these awesome Dia de los Muertos cups & plate too:

Last year I made some delectable treats from my favourite food blogger for a few gifts. They were well received, and I’ve been trying to think of who I could gift some to this year (without taste testing before filling up the boxes!!)

You can find her post here, and even print out some awesome gift tags!

I love the feeling of giving a little something to brighten someone’s day, and share some love.
If you have a favourite place for some cool finds, I’d love to hear about them..I do have a little shopping to do (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

Here are a couple of links to some of my favourite local places to pick up unique pieces for gift giving:
